The complex is situated in a quiet residential area in the northern part of Majorca (Alcudia).

The township of Alcudia is on the northeast side of the island of Majorca. It is bounded on the north by the sea, on the west, by the township of Pollença, on the south, by Sa Pobla and Muro, and on the east, by the sea.

The city of Alcudia has exceptional historic, cultural and artistic importance, bearing witness to its long and intricate past.  This heritage and the conservation thereof give the township a unique character and special personality.

The "Port of Alcudia" is just 3 km away, and still conserves its marine air.  Visitors can enjoy a pleasant stroll through its docks and sailing club.  On the Sea Front and nearby areas, there are many shops and restaurants that offer fresh fish caught in the bay.

Alcanada also gives its name to the tiny island that can be seen from the cove.  The island measures some 200 metres long and 15 wide. It is completely surrounded by rocky beaches and has a lighthouse.  You can reach the island by swimming or walking.

Alcanada beach is covered in tiny pebbles, with fine sand in the sea depths, and is surrounded by pine trees that form an attractive natural backdrop.

Opposite the island, the area is incredibly beautiful.  A path runs along the coast, towards the cape, and takes you on to the beach of Coll Baix.

There is also a golf course ( CLUB DE GOLF ALCANADA ) just 500 metres from the complex, in one of the best 18-holes courses in Europe, designed by the architects Robert Trent Jones Senior and Junior.

It is not necessary to travel to it from Alcanada.  It is located on a gentle slope that runs down to the sea, dotted with pines, olive trees and evergreen oaks, with a wonderful view of the island of Alcanada and its lighthouse in the foreground and the mountains of Sierra de Levante in the background.

The course is quite difficult, requiring a good handicap.
